The Power of Crystals

Good morning everyone, hope you all have a great day. Most of you have probably been up for hours hitting the stores, hopefully you got some great deals. Today we are going to talk abou the power of quartz crystals.

Did you know that quarts crystals are one of the most universal and powerful crystals. The ones that I am referring to theclear quartz crystals (pink ones are wonderful when used for love).

Clear quartz crystals empower whatever they are kept in contact with. So, if you have a set of Tarot Cards, Runes or any other divination methods, as well as having a special cloth
to wrap them with store a clear quartz crystal within that bundle.

Also if you attach a clear quartz crystal to your wand it will enhance it’s power and effectiveness.

You can even wear quartz crystal around your neck or sleep with it under your
pillow to enhance, access and increase your own personal power.

If you do feel the need to have extra loving energy with you use pink quartz crystal – which will open up the energy of love within yourself and as I say often If you Love yourself others, will love you in return. It will support you by bringing more loving situations into your life.

If you have no other crystal in your possession, I do encourage you
to go to your nearest New Age store (off or online) and choose some for yourself, I have 5 crystals at the moment & I am planning on buying more. I have one with all my magical tools. Remember to cleanse them before you go to use them. Thanks for stopping by by sure to come back tomorrow.

Wishing on a Wishbone

Hello everyone, hope you all have a great day. With Thanksgiving only a few days away, we decided to make today’s post about wishing on the ole’ wishbone. Come on you all have done it, and probably still do.

In all customs having to do with wishbones, it is taboo to put a finger on the head of the bone to give yourself a better grip. The person thus applying unfair leverage invalidates any wish he or she would make. In some areas, the wish automatically transfers to the other person. I can honestly say I have never done that, it’s cheating!!!

Two people should each grasp one end of a chicken or turkey wishbone. Each person pulls on the wishbone while making a wish. The one who gets the larger piece of bone (the one with the head on it) will get his or her wish. The wish must not be told to anyone. This tradition is common in the United States and elsewhere.

Another tradition in some places says that the person who gets the shortest piece will be the first to marry.

Wait for the wishbone of any fowl (chicken, duck, quail, turkey, etc.) to dry. Two people then grasp the bone and snap it. The one getting the piece with the head on it must quickly say lucky break and make a silent wish.

Two people each grasp one end of the wishbone and make a silent wish as they pull and twist the bone until it breaks. The person who gets the larger piece will get their wish; the other person must tell what their own wish was. This tradition is common of New Jersey.

A wishbone should be dried in the Sun and kept for a long time. Touch it any time you want to make a wish. This is common in Italy.

Have a greay day. If you have any questions feel free to email us at miraclesnmagic@comcast.net

Soul Mates & Love Mates

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a great day. I am still trying to kick this damn cold. Its very slowly going away. Today’s post is going to be about Past Lives, more specifically your soul mates & Love mates.

Soul Mates

Understanding & healing emotional difficulties, most which have their roots in past lives, can help you to improve the quality of your relationships. Our current partners, who are are karmic counterparts, can give us the chance to complete unfinished tasks that we may have in this life & also to help us release negative thoughts & emotions that intrude in out daily lives. Those that you have a relationship that has originated in a past life is called your “soul mate.”

Have you ever had a brief encounter that left such an intense impression that you could never quite shake it? How many times have you caught a brief glimpse of someone across a crowded room & felt an instant rapport, an inner knowing that you’ve encountered a kindred spirit? During that brief moment did you feel the need to rekindle the memories from the past that you shared & hold onto them forever.  Or has there ever been a time that you have meet someone and felt confused, uncomfortable or maybe even angry & not know why?

These meetings are part of a more complex web of intrigue that lies deep within our subconscious mind. It dictates the tapestries of events that weave their way throughout our lifetimes. Each past life relationship will determine how we interact with the people around us. They may cause us to feel intense love or desire for a person that we may encounter, or hatred, envy or spite for another. As these soul memories are aroused the relationships are rekindled. Almost everyone that we connect with in this life has been involved in many of our past lives. Possibly a brother, sister, parent, colleague, child, lover, or even an enemy.

The dynamics of our former-life situations are recreated in our present lives, they could be passionate, romantic, adventurous, angry, and vengeful. When we meet familiar souls in out present life it is to relive & rework the relationship. Those familiar eyes across the crowded room are often an inner reminder of a person whom we have chosen to interact with once more, and the encounter will provide us with the opportunity to re-experience those karmic bonds.

When we hear the words soul mate, we tend to think about Romeo & Juliet, Tristan & Isolde or Katharine Hepburn & Spencer Tracy, couples who have found the perfect complement, becoming symbols of exquisite love that seem to transcend time & space. The term soul mate is commonly used to describe that one great love of your life, but can actually mean all the people in your life that you have been with in past lives & even in other demensions. This idea is based on the theory that you incarnate with the same circle of people.

When we meet our soul mates there is usually an instant rapport, recognition or maybe even repulsion. If you had a sexual liaison in a past life with someone you encounter in a present life, there is usually a physical attraction to that person. Although you will not always see eye to eye with your soul mates, there is that sense of familiarity in the relationship. You will often have a communication beyond logical explanation & a deep attachment, whether it be positive of negative, that is sometimes telepathic.

Love Mates

One of the greatest mysteries in the philosophy of reincarnation is the idea that everyone has a perfect partner, this person is called your love mate, dual mate, twin flame, and most often your soul mate. Researchers have found that even in religions dating back to the Stone Age, one of the main reasons for leading a positive life was so you could be reborn near your true love the next time.

A commonly held theory regarding love mates is that we were originally androgynous beings, souls that were neither male or female. At some point we were split in two & become either male or female energy but not necessarily two distinct bodies. These halves were then set forth into the Earth plane, a division of polarities growing & expanding, forever trying to reunite.

Those who believe this theory feel that there will be an increase in the search for & reunion with love mates in the coming years due to the increase in the vibratory rate of the planet. This accounts for the rise in relationships that transcend differences in race, age, gender, religion & social standing.

Sometimes a love mate can be in the spirit world rather than ina physical body, offering us asstitance from the  “other side.” This can account for the feeling that a loving presence in watching over you. In spite of the allure of waiting for tat so-called perfect love, it is a mistake to spend your whole life waiting for your “true” love. First of all, this will keep you from experiencing the joy in the moment because you’re living a waiting mode.  Second, love mates may not always have a smooth-sailing relationships, in fact, they can be quite stormy.

Hope you all enjoy your day & eventually find your Soul mate/Love mate. If you have any questions feel free to email us at miraclesnmagic@comcast.net

Moon Signs

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a great day.  Today we are going to talk about the Moon Signs. Most people don’t even know they have a Moon Sign. The position of the Moon in your horoscope is second only in importance to the position of the Sun. Your moon sign is what you see of yourself.

The Moon stand for emotions, instincts & the unconscious. It represents your instinctive reactions, where the Sun represents your will. Evangeline Adams, the most famous astrologer of the twentieth century, wrote that the Sun signifies your individuality and the Moon signifies your personality. Other astrologers have defined the Sun’s influence as a vital force & the Moon as an unconscious force. The Moon represents the side of you that reacts before you have time to think.

Sigmund Freud’s theory of the id & the ego, is the forerunner when it comes to the distinction in astrology between the Sun & the Moon. According to Freud the ego (the Sun) is a person’s consciousness, and the id (the Moon) represents the instinct.

Your Moon personality is the one that you keep hidden, since we as humans tend to disapprove of instinctive behavior. We call it uncivilized, primitive & animalistic. Your Moon personality is the one that you may find disturbing. It is your inner self, which feels hate & jealously, broods & is fearful, and has fantasies that you often deny, even to yourself.

Your Moon side is also the side that can spontaneously feel & express joy & pleasure, the side that reflects to emotional stimuli. It is the part of you that tends to enjoy the little things in life, the smell of flowers, or newly cut grass, the delight of a long, hot shower. The Moon is inextricably linked to what might be called you reaction to your environment. It has ruler ship over your five senses; sight, hearing, taste, smell & touch.

The Moon also stands for childhood, your dreams, memory, and your past… this can be summed up as your inner psyche. The Moon holds dominion over your emotional sphere, it influences your receptivity to others & how they feel about you. It is an extremely important factor in your relationships.

Wishing Tree

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a great day. I am still trying to kick this cold. It’s a nasty one, totallt kicking my butt. Today, we are going to talk abou the Wishing Tree. Yes, the tradition of the ‘wishing-tree’ really exists in many real-life locales as well as in fiction.

Sometimes a tree will become known as magical because something significant happens near it, anything from historical events to deaths. There is also a tradition of sweethearts pledging their love beneath certain trees, thus making them their personal wishing-trees.

If you come upon a local wishing-tree, put both your hands on it and look up in the branches as you make your wish. You can find them in the British Isles, Europe, Canada, and the United States.

Another way to make a wish on a wishing-tree shold you come across one is to, walk around it backwards three times while silently repeating the same wish three times.

Did you know that you can turn a mature, full-grown elm into a wishing-tree, just  walk around it backwards three times before making your wish? This tradition is common in England.

If you and a partner can reach around the trunk of a full-grown pine tree and touch hands, you can each make a wish while looking up into the branches. The thicker the trunk, the more powerful the chance of the wish coming true. This is tradition is common in North Carolina.

As you plant a new tree, make a wish that is not selfish or personal. The more significant the wish, the better the chance that the wish will come true. (If the tree dies, so does any chance of the wish coming true.) A lone tree of one variety surrounded by a stand of some other variety is said to be charmed; touch it lightly with your fingers and close your eyes as you silently make your wish, then silently chant: ‘Tree of wishes, bring your power to bear on my wish.

So, everyone go out & find a wishing tree and starting makeing thosee wishes. Hope they come true. If you have any questions feel free to email us @ miraclesnmagic@comcast.net

In Memory of an Angel

Hello everyone, Today’s post is going to be in memory of a good friend of ours. One year ago today, Christine Ayotte Mcgee was taken from this world in the cruelest way possible. She was murdered by her estranged husband. The father of her little boy, a man that she loved & trusted.

Christine was the most beautiful person, she always saw the good in people & was loved by everyone she meet. Christine was truly an angel. She is missed by many, but will always remain in our hearts. We love you Christine, we always will.

Rest in Peace Christine.

The Interplay of Yin & Yang With The Four Seasons

Hello everyone, sorry I didn’t post yesterday. We had a business meeting & then had some other stuff to take care of. Today I am going to continue talking about Yin & Yang and how they interplay with the four seasons. Below is a chart that I came across that shows this:

Photobucket

To describe the world in Yin & Yang is to paint it in black & white, sacrificing all the detail & shading in the world. If we were to paint the varying shades of gray, we will have to show a mixtuce of Yin & Yang. Like our year moves through the four seasons, Yin & Yang also moves through four alternatives stages. Once Yin reaches it’s limit in the dead of winter, yang moves in from the bottom. This is the beginning of spring. Energy rises from the earth to the sky and the plants start to grow. Then, in the summertime the Yang energy moves up to fill both positions. At this point the days of summer have peaked, and the Yin energy of fall starts to move in & the beginning of the decay & decline takes place.

Everything from the rise & fall of a civilization to the way our thoughts rises & falls from our minds, follows this rhythm. The moon even moves though four stages, new moon, waxing moon, full moon & waning moon.

Harmony is the rhythmic interplay of Yin & Yang, the ability to change Yin from Yang & back again with the agility of a dancer. Yin & Yang can not be seperated, like the tides & the seasons, they are changing & moving all the time.

Hope this helps you to understand how Yin & Yang works a little better. If you have any questions feel free to email us at mircalesnmagic@comcast.net

What Is An Out of Body Experience?

Good morning everyone, I feeling a little better today. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Today,  We decided to talk about Out of Body Expereinces or OBEs. In today’s post we will tell you a little bit about OBEs, how to induce one & we will also give you a real life story about one that one of our very own here at Miracles n Magic experienced.

An OBE is an experience that involves the sensation that your are floating outside of your body. The term Out of Body Experience was first introduced by Robert Monroe in 1971, as a bias-free alternative to “astral projecting” or “spirit walking” Although the term usefully distances researchers from the scientifically problematic concepts such as the soul, scientists still don’t know much about the phenomenon. OBE’s are often part of near death experiences & sometimes lead to astral projection. Some people that have experienced OBE’s have claimed to have seen details that were not known to them before the experience. 1 out of 10 people has had an OBE at some point in their life.

In some cases, the phenomenon occurs spontaneously, other times it is associated with physical or mental trauma, the use of psychedelic drugs, dissociative drugs, or a dream-like state. There have been many techniques on how to induce an OBE, here is one that we have found useful:

1. Lie flat on your back, with your arms loosely by your sides & your head supported on a pillow. Relax & sense your body becoming lighter with every exhalation. Enjoy the pleasant feeling of numbness as you begin to uncoil the silver umbilical cord of etheric energy that binds your subtle to its physical counterpart.

2. Feel the warmth spreading across your stomach & permeating your lower back easing any tension & resistance caused by anxiety or stress. If you have any emotional blockages caused by unpleasant memories of your birth, or connected with your death in a previous life, this will release them.

3. Now focus again on your breathing and, with each exhalation, sense that you are forming a cushion of etheric under your body. You can float away on this & leave your problems behind.

4. Feel yourself rising from the floor, safe in the knowledge that you are secured by the silver umbilical cord.

5. Remember that you are in control at times & can return to your body at will.

And know for the real life experience; This was the First OBE for our very own Guilia, one of the founding partners here at Miracles n Magic.

“I remember my dream felt as though I was watching a movie. I literally felt my body lift my bed. I saw the silver umbilial cord uncurl as I floated up higher. I felt like I was flying, kinda like Wendy in Peter Pan. Then all of a sudden I felt my body fall onto the bed. It felt like a “soft plump”, kinda like if you were jumping up & down on the bed & you fell. For me it was just the feeling, I don’t remember much of the dream itself.”

Have a great day everyone. As always if you haved any questions feel free to email us at miraclesnmagic@comcas.net. Also please don’t be afraid to share your experiences with us, either here as a comment or email them to us. Hope to here from you soon.
