Hello everyone, hope you all have a great day. Today we are going to talk about 1 way to use your quartz.
Quartz crystal is an excellent all around stone, it directs, focuses & amplifies energy & can dispel negativity in you & your environment.
Here are a few great ways to use your quartz to Aid Psychic Connections:
Quartz’s amplifying abilities can help you to increase your psychic awareness. In order to activate your crystal you will need to carry it in you pocket for a week. This will attune the crystal to your energy.
Try this when you meditate, lay down with your quartz on the crown of your head; your crown charka. As you are doing this concentrate on your mind opening & your awareness expanding.
To give yourself inspiration & insight hold your quartz to your 3rd eye (the center of your forehead).
If you want to remember your dreams, hold your quartz in your hand before you go to sleep. (I have done this with my quartz, it works!!!)
It is also good to help you focus your dreams. Before going to sleep, hold your quartz in your hand & think about any problems that you want an answer to. Place the quartz under your pillow while you sleep, this will help your mind work through the problem. (I have also tried this and it works.)
To stimulate your crown chakra (the energy center at the top of your head), gently rub your quartz against your brow.

Today we are going to talk about The Magic of Clear Quartz. Quartz is so much more than a beautiful crystal. It cleanses, heals & energizes — and we are going to show you how to harness its powers.
You probably know clear crystal as the material that is used to make crystal balls, but even small pieces have many magical associations & uses. Quartz acts as an amplifier of energy, and is good for healing & communication.
Quartz’s clarity & purity give it magical similarities to water & glass. It is used to “was away” negative energies from your body & environment. In crystal ball gazing, quartz acts as a window into other worlds, a portal though which, for exapmle, the cause of an illness can be revealed.
Quartz is also believed to strengthen the link between Earth & the heavens, allowing its user to see inot other times & places. You can use quartz to aid psychic traveling & dream journeys.
Many of us probably use quarts every day, withough being aware of it. Its ability to amplify energy makes it an important component in many items of electrical equipment. For example, quart’s amplifying abilities made it a vital component in early radios, which were know as “crystal sets.” Quartz can channel psychic energies as easily as it directs the radio waves through your hi-fi.
Since quartz is used to stimulate your mind, the best place to wear it in jewelry is is close to your head, such as in earrings, nose studs or short pendants.

Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather. I just came back from straighten up my yard a bit. I picked some of my lilacs & lilly of the valley & brought them up. Now, my room smells like spring. I love it. Today we are going to continue talking about Lunar Eclipses.
Although most people believe that the Moon disappears compeletey, this is not true. It actually changes colors, sometimes very dramatically. When the Moon passes through the umbra, the color effect depends on the amount of refracted light. This will cause the Moon to have a reddish color, that varies from one eclipse to another. There is a way that you can rate the color of a Lunar Eclipse.
A celebrated French astronomer named Andre-Louis Danjon (1890-1967) devised a scale that recoreds the brightness mesurements. It is called the Dajon Scale. In 1958, he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society. This is the rating scale:
0 Very dark eclipse: the Moon looks almost invisible
1 Dark eclipse: grey or brownish color, difficult to see
2 Deep red, burgundy, or rust-colored, with a very dark central part in the umbra & the outer rim or the umbra relatively bright
3 Brick-red eclipse, typically with a bright or yellow rim to the umbra
4 Very bright copper or orange-colored eclipse, with a bluish, very bright umbral rim
And now for the Magickal Correspondences for the Colors of a Lunar Eclipse. This scale is something that Ellen Dugan came up with & put in her book Natural Witchery Intuitive, Personal & Practical Magick. I thought that it was pretty interesting the way she added the traditional color magick correspondences with the Dajon Scale. Here is that scale:
0 During a deep & dark-toned Lunar Eclipse, work spells & charms for protection, banishings & bindings
1 For this rating, with that dark grey or brown color, try working glamouries or spells for neutrality or invisibility, or to make your actions go unnoticed
2 The dark red hue corresponds with the Mother aspect of the Goddess, as well as healing, love & protection magick
3 An eclipse that rates a 3 on the scale, with a red moon & bright yellow rim, may be a perfect complement to transformation spells or magick that increases your psychic knowledge & reception
4 Finally, an orange-looking eclipse could be worked for magick that increases your personal power & for success
Keep in mind that its not easy to predict the color of the Lunar Eclipse. You are going to have to play it by ear & see what color you are going to experience. A good idea would be to wait til the eclipse is at its peak then go from there.

Hello everyone how are you all doing? Sorry we haven’t been around for a while. Its been a really rough few months, we have gone through many changes and lost a few people working for us, but we have managed without them. We regrouped & are coming back full force. You are going to see a lot of changes in the coming months. And now for today’s post, we are going to discuss Lunar Eclipses.
A Lunar Eclipse is a great time to feel the natural psychic & magickal power of the Moon. They allow us to work very powerful intuitive magick. Any time of Moon magick is especially potent if performed during the Lunar Eclipse, also during this time your psychic abilities get turned up full force.
I am sure that you are wondering why this happens; it is because that during the Lunar Eclipse, the Moon goes through all its phases in a matter of a few hours. Making it possible to tap into every phase of the Moon in a short period of time. As you sit back & watch the Moon roll through the Lunar Eclipse, you are experiencing one of nature’s most incredible shows. It is easy to see why in ancient times people were in such awe of this event, and why the believed that it was the work of the gods. I read a wonderful visualization for a Lunar Eclipse in one of my favorite books; Natural Witchery Intuitive, Personal, Practical Magick By Ellen Dugan; during the Lunar Eclipse “the Goddess slowly pulls her burgundy cape across the moon.”
An eclipse occurs when one celestial object passes into the shadow cast by another, a Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon falls under the Earth’s shadow during a Full Moon.
Here are some terms & types of Lunar Eclipses taken from Natural Witchery Intuitive, Personal, Practical Magick By Ellen Dugan
Apogee – The 2nd Full Moon is at its farthest point from Earth: 252, 700 miles away
Blue Moon– The 2nd Full Moon that occurs within one calender month
Earthshine – The dark, smoky portion of the moon that you can see shining alongside a brilliant crescent. Described as seeing “the old Moon within the new Moon’s arms.”
Harvest Moon– The Full Moon closes to the Autumn Equinox. Typically these occur in September; however, one out if three harvest Moons do fall in the month of October.
Lunation – One lunar cycle phase
Occultation– An astronomical event that happens when one celestial body passes in front of another, making an object partially or fully hidden in the sky, such as a solar eclipse.
Partial Lunar Eclipse– When only part of the Moon enters the umbra (the umbra being the darker inner section of Earth’s shadow).
Penumbra — The outer part of the Earth’s shadow where sunlight is not completely blocked during an eclipse. It only dims the Moon slightly.
Penumbral Lunar Eclipse — This occurs when the Moon only passes through Earth’s outer section of the shadow, the penumbra.
Perigee — When the Moon is the closest distance to Earth, at 221,550 miles. If the perigee falls on a Full Moon phase, the Moon will look slightly larger than normal.
Total Lunar Eclipse — This occurs when the Moon goes entirely into Earth’s darkest, most inner part of the shadow, the umbra.
Total Penumbral Eclipse — A rare type of Lunar Eclipse where the eclipse stays only within the penumbra section of Earth’s shadow, but the sections of the Moon closest to the umbra will look a bit darker than the rest of the Moon.
Totality — The phase of an eclipse when it is total.
Umbra – This is the region of the complete, darkest shadow created by Earth in an eclipse. In Lunar Eclipses it has a reddish hue.
Zenith — The point in the sky directly above the viewer. Also the highest point of the Moon’s — or Sun’s — arc across the sky.

Hi everyone, hope your day is going good. Mine has been good, spent the morning out with with my best friend & now I am chilling with my uglies on Radiougly. Everyone on the station is great. They are like my second family. Stop by and tell the honey sent ya. Anyway today I am going to talk about how to make contact with spirits of the dead as well as spirits and entities of other dimensions and planes of existence.
This is usually done by mediums. They are people with highly developed psychic skills. The earliest historical descriptions of mediums dates back almost 4000 years, to Chinese literature. Ancient Asian emperors consulted with mediums also known as Wu. The Wu claimed to communicate advice, information and insights given by spirits of the deceased.
There are two kinds of mediums. Mental mediums receive inner visions, experience clairaudience (hearing voices and messages), and access mental impressions (thought). Some well known mental mediums are John Edward and James Van Praagh.
Physical mediums act as channels for physical manifestations initiated by disembodied spirits. A popular Reverend William Stainton Moses was known for levitation, table-tilting, mysterious sounds, lights and scents and materializations of luminous hands and columns of light with human shapes.
I am sure that most of you have seen the movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze & Demi Moore. To recap the movie Sam (Patrick Swayze) must warn his wife Molly (Demi Moore) that she is in danger, so he tries to communicate to Molly through Oda Mae Brown(Whoppi Goldberg), a phony psychic that learns her powers are real. At the end of the movie Oda Mae allows Sam to enter her body so that he and Molly may kiss one last time. This is known as channeling, trance or medium-ship
Channeling is one of the most controversial forms of medium-ship. It was popular up until the later 80’s. Channeling is not as popular anymore because many channels misused or faked their abilities. Some of them were using their talents to start cults & gain power over others.
Another name for channels is trance mediums, they are called this because when the spirit takes over their body to communicate through them, they enter a deep trance state and lose consciousness. Often channels will speak with a unique accent and bestow complex messages and teachings.
Spirits sometimes claim to be extremely spiritually advanced souls or super human entities – angels, avatars or ascended masters. Some believe that many of these spirits were never human, or that they were once human but have now surpassed the human condition and that they have risen to higher dimensions. Most channels do not communicate with regular people that have passed to the other side.
J.Z. Kinght, the most popular trance medium, channels an entity named Ramtha. Ramtha claims to be a 35,000 year old ancient warlord from Atlantis. Another trance medium named Penny Torres channels an entity named Mafu. Mafu claims to be a spirit of a leper that lived in ancient Pompeii.

Hey everyone hope you all have a great day. Today we are going to show you a really cool spell for each phase of the moon. We have taken these spells from Ellen Duggan’s Natural Witchery Intuitive, Personal, & Practical Magick. They are fun and easy to do.
First here is a list of the supplies you will need:
A white tealight candle
A clear candleholder cup
A small magnet (to represent the moon’s magentism and “pull” in your life)
A lighter or matches
A safe, flat surface to set up on
Set the candles inside the candleholder, and place the magnet in front of it. If you choose, you can jazz up the spell with sliver glitter sprinkled on your work surface. Or how about a silver and white alter cloth, or fresh white flowers tucked in a vase? Try fragrant flowers such as white roses, lilies, freesia or, daisies.
Once you have things arranged to your liking, take a moment to ground and center. Visualize all the fresh energies that the moon in her various phases provides. When you are ready, light the candle and repeat the spell corresponding to the moon phase you are in, three times. Allow the candle to burn out in a safe place when you are finished. Please note: tealights take about 4 hours to burn.
First Quarter Moon Spell
This lunar spell encourages fresh starts and helps you sense the magnetic and feminine powers of the moon. At this time, your psychic abilities will begin to burgeon out and your emapthy will increase.
Increase my sensitivity during this first lunar phase
Bringing fresh starts and inspired magick into all my days
Lunar powers are magnetic, they do pull in positive change
May the Maiden goddess hear my call and bless me in many ways.
Second Quarter Moon Spell
This lunar spell calls you to ride the psychic wave with the increasing lunar energies and light of the moon as it grows fuller each night. This is a good “opening spell” to use in a ritual throughout this waxing lunar phase.
As the moon rolls through its second phase, magick will surely grow.
The gifts of sight, dreams, and intuition now begin to flow.
Bless my spells with extra power , may I use my gifts wisely,
While the Mother’s moon waxes full, shining love straight down on me.
Third Quarter Moon Spell
The following lunar spell works in harmony with the waning moon. This is the point in time where you work magick to remove obstacles and problems. This is the time of the clairaudient’s greatest powers, so focus those psychic ablilities internally and listen carefully for messages and widsom. The magick is inside you. Be still, and let it unfold.
As the moon starts to wane, the third lunar cycle begins
So look quietly witihn, reflect, and soul-search again.
Work to remove problems now, spell’s I’ll carefully weave,
As the moon grows smaller, so too will my troubles leave.
Fourth Quarter Moon Spell
Finbally, here is a spell for the final phase of the moon. This is the Crone’s moon, and at this time you psychic gifts may be at thier strongest. As the energy turns to the hushed, waiting mode, it doesn’t mean it’s gone, just that it is extermely focused and internal. So if your aren’t paying attention, you may not pick up on those psychic impressions. If this is a problem for you, ask the wise old Crone for her assistance. As far as magick is concerned,t his is the time to deal with those more serious issues. Chek out the fianl line of this spell and adjust as necessary for your purposes; for example the word “protection” can easily be switched to “banishing”.
The Crone’s moon grows smaller at the passing of each eve.
For this magick to work, if myself I must believe.
Charms performed now require a wisdom most sublime
The protection spell is now cast, sealed up with a rhyme.

Hello everyone, hope you all enjoyed the Full Moon on Tuesday night. It is always such an amazing experience, you never feel the same thing twice. Today we decided to keep with the moon theme and talk about the different phases of the moon.
Every month there is a subtle and enchanting rhythm to the mood of the moon as they roll from one to the other. If you work in harmony with each of the lunar tides you can very easily turn the volume up on your magick. This can be especially helpful if you work in accord with your intuition and personal psychic abilities.
Once you acknowledge your psychic talents, you will be able to embrace the ability to be receptive. Receptive power is not passive, it is magnetic, compelling, and captivating. This kind of energy draws intuition, magick and power straight to you. Receptive lunar power has also been known to boost your inspiration and facilitate the effectiveness of your macigk.
Your probably wondering how, it’s because the power of the lunar phases influences all life forms on the planet, including human behavior. Being able to work with and acknowledge the cycles of the moon will allow you to arrange your magick in the most opportune way. Certain types of magick will coordinate with either the waxing or waning of the moon, as will your psychic abilities be affected by the ever changing lunar tides and energies.
Below are four major lunar phases, accompanying psychic and magickal info for each one, we have taken these directly from Ellen Dugan’s Natural WItchery Intuitive, Personal, & Practical Magick. Tomorrow we will post a spell for each quarter of the moon, so be sure to come back.
First Quarter
(From the new moon to the waxing half moon.) As the slim crescent moon slowly becomes fuller each night, now os the time to begin new projects, to be creative, to meet new people, and to be outgoing. Your personal psychic energy will be building, and you will notice you are more sympathetic and sensetive to other people’e positive emotions at this time. Awaken your intuition and pay attention, for as the moon grows brighter your dreams and thier meanings will become clearer. Here is the ideal time for magick and spells that draw things to you. Pull that affirmative change and bubbling energy straight into your life and reap the benefits. The waxing moon is a time to celebrate growth and potential. As the moon grows larger, your magickal goals will manifest. This moon phase corresponds with the Maiden aspect of the Goddess, such as Athena, Artermis/Diana and Bast.
Second Quarter
(From the waxing half moon to the full moon.) During this kunar phase, emotions and instinct are heightened. You will notice that precognitive dreams, intuition, and clairvoyance will peak as the full moon gets closer. During this lunar phase, spells will come to fruition swiftly, espically if they are uncomplicated and sincere. The closer you can cast your spells to the actual time of the full moon, the more power and oomph your spells and charms will have. Now, the day of the full moon is actually a time of maxium magickal power. This is an all-purpose lunar phase, so get in there and start casting! The full moon aligns with the Mother aspect of the Goddess, for example, Selene, Luna, Freya, Isis or Aphrodite.
Third Quarter
(From the second night after the full moon to the waning half moon.) When the moon begins to wane, its light slowly dissipates into the night sky. This is a powerful time of internal energy and an opportunity to quietly look within. Focus on dreams, insticts and gut hunches. If you are clairaudient, pay particular attention to those internal messages. When the moon wanes, work magick to remove negativity and obstacles that you are facing. During this lunar phase, work magick to carefully dissolve problems, push away troubles, and remove negativity in the best way possible for all those concerned. As the moon wanes, so too will the situation pr problem. The Third-quarter moon corresponds to the Crone aspect of the Goddess, such as Cerridwen, Hecate or Nepthys.
Fourth Quarter
(From the waning half moon to until the dark of the moon.) This is the dark time of the moon. You may find that your psychic talents take a little vacation during the dark phases of the moon, or on the other hand, the may come roaring to life with an all-out bombardment of your senses. Personally, I have found that the abilities of empathy and psychometry are more pronounced at this time. Why, you may wonder? Well, I have found that this type of psychic ability forces you to look within and to be still as the information comes to you — what better time than in the waning moon, when your powers are focused internally? Macicklly, now is the occasion to tackle serious issues, such as extreme protection magick, bindings, or banishings, and keeping away criminals, prowlers, or stalkers. casting your spells in the final days of the moon’s cycle (when the moon in not visible at all) will increase the force behind your banishing and protective magick. This phase of the moon is often linked to the darker aspects of the Goddess, when she is a spiritual warrior; again. Hecate is a good one to work with in this phase, but you can also call on Sekhmet, the Morrigan, or even Kali, if you are really feeling brave.

Good Morning Everyone, Today’s post is a bit early but tonight we are going to be busy preparing for the exeprience of a lifetime. Drawing down the moon is a wonderful experience, we have done it several times & each time it is different. We highly recommend you try it for yourself.
Drawing down the moon is a powerful psychic and magickal experience. When you focus on the light of the moon you are actually drawing the Goddess into your own body. Lunar energy is intuitive, magnetic, and receptive. It is a force of nature and tapping into this power is a transformative experience.
This is a silent ritual and requires no tools or props other then yourself and a full moon. This is an intuitive and personal experience that will mark a significant step in your journey. There are no words needed, although if you would like you can say a few words in greeting the Goddess, “Hello Goddess” works fine. This is much more heartfelt then trying o remember a long poem for the occassion. Just be yourself & follow your insights.
The following steps are straight forward and simple. I have taken them directly from Ellen Dugan’s Natural Witchery: Intuitive, Personal, & Practical Magick.
1.) Step outside and stand under the light of the moon.
2.) Ground and center yourself. Imagine that your feet are like roots of a tree, and sink them down into the earth. Visualize that any stress you may be carrying is draining away to be absorbed back harmlessly into the earth. Now see the the earth is in turn sending you retvitalizing energy. Raise up your arms, and stretch out your fingers. Take a nice deep cleansing breath and blow ot out slowly.
3.) Next, you may stand with your hands loosely at your sides, holdig your hands palms up.
4.) Now open up your chakras . Light up those seven energy centers, strech out your psychic feelings, and open yourself up to the Goddess and her illumination.
5.) Tip your face to the light of the moon, and envision pulling some of that luminosity an power down and inside yourself. Give yourself a few moments, and feel the difference that it makes. For example, if you are feeling down and self-conscious, you will likely stnd taller and be more confident after drawing down the moon. If you feel overwhelmed and stressed out, you’ll notice that your shoulders relax, and you will feel more at peace when you are finished. You may feel a shivery and tingling connection with other Witches from all over the world. Or you may feel a comforting warmth surrounding you, like an astral hug, telling you that She is looking down on you and smiling. Enjoy the sensations for a while.
6.) Take a deep breath, and let it out slowly. Now zip your chakras closed with a quick arm motion from your mid-thigh area to over the top of your head. Ground and center again. Relax.
7.) Whisper a “thank you” to the Goddess. Return indoors.

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday. For today’s post we are going to teach you a great little exercise that will help you to turn on your psychic abilities. It is called “Ligting Up Your Chakras.” Below is a list of the 7 chakras, where they are located & the color they are.
root chakra base of spine red
belly abdomen orange
solar plexus beneath rib cage yellow
heart middle of chest green
throat hollow of throat blue
third eye middle of forehead violet
crown top of head white
Lighting up your chakras is one of the basic steps to turn on your psychic ablities. To do this just envision them as pulsing with right, lowing colors. Here is a simple visualization exercise that will only take about 5 minutes to do. In this exercise you must picture the charkas as glowing orbs of energy and then turn up their light, so that they are glowing brightly and pulsing with energy.
To start this exercise sit on the floor and rest your hands comfortably in your lap. Gently roll your head around and stretch out your neck and shoulders. Close your eyes. Closing your eyes will force you to focus on your psychic impressions and not your physical ones.
Start by taking a few deep, cleansing breaths, and ground and center yourself.
Now, picture your root chakra, this is located at the base of your spine. This orb is a bright red. The root charka is known as the seat of power. It is a place of raw energy and grounding force. The root chakra connects you to the physical world. Picture this ball of light as glowing with a vivid red and warm light.
Next move up to the belly chakra. This is located between the base of your spine and your belly button, in the abdomen area. This chakra is orange. It is thought to influence your insincts, emotions, and person power. This is where your “gut hunches” begin. Light this charka up and see it as a beautiful, bright orange. If you feel your stomach clenching as you turn on this power are, take a deep breath, and try to relax those muscles. After a few minutes, go ahead and move on.
Now we move on to the solar plexus. This is located directly beneath the rib cage and above the belly button. This orb is a brilliant yellow color. You may notice this area tighten up as well. This is considered your “soul area”, and your psychic intuition and personal power are linked to the area of the body, so is your magickal will. Your psychic impressions physically gather in this energy center. You will feel your intuitive impressions tighten up your muscles. Give yourself a moment to experience the sensation and gather any impressions.
Next light up your heart chakra. It will be the gorgeous grass-green color, found in the middle of your chest. This is the energy center where your emotions and love radiate from. Unconditional love and strong emotions come from this charka. As you light up this charka, feel the sensation of perfect love and perfect trust spread throughout your body. Take sometime to enjoy this lovely sensation then move on to the next chakra.
The throat charka is next, this is located at the hollow of your throat. It is a stunning sapphire blue color. Turn it on and see it glowing brightly with your other charkas. This charka controls how we communicate with others and how well we listen. This is the area where psychic hearing is controlled. As you visualize this chakra expanding and lighting up, listen carefully and see what your inner voice is saying.
Next we shift our focus up to the middle of our forehead, the third eye area. This charka is a gorgeous amethyst-violet color. This energy center is the point of your psychic vision and perception. Light up this orb and take a moment to experience the difference in your awareness as you focus on the center of energy that clairvoyance comes from. Give yourself some time and “see” what you can perceive.
Our last chakra to light up is called the crown, it is located on the top of your head. This charka is a brilliant white. It is this here where we experience and sense the divine in our lives. This is the chakra that links you to the God & Goddess, in everyday life and during magick. It is here that we experience divine love. Let this orb shine out in a dazzling white halo and take a moment to experience the love of all creation.
Now that you have all seven chakras are lit and pulsing with positive energy, take a moment and enjoy the experience. What kind of psychic impressions are you getting? Is there one part of your body that feels more “tuned up” than others? Focus on that part and ask yourself what it is that you need to know. Don’t over think this, just see what you feel.
After you have had time to feel your chakras, begin to turn down their brightness. Picture a dimmer switch that you are turning down. If you notice that one of your chakras is still bigger and brighter then the others or that you feel a tightening in a certain part of your body, take a deep breath and relax those muscles.
Now reach down to the floor directly in front of the base chakra and zip all the chakras closed. raise your hand up in front of your body, in a straight line, and all the way over your head.
Ground & center, placing the palms of your hands flat on the ground. Hold the pose for a moment so that you may send any excess energy safely back into the earth and pull up the stabilizing energy from the earth. Allow yourself to relax. Once you are relaxed, open your eyes, place your hands in anatural pose and relax your posture.
Hope you all enjoyed this experience, it is a wonderful feeling. I find it very soothing and relaxing. It really helps me to calm down after a hard day.

Hey everyone, hope you all have a great day. Here is a simple exercise about grounding and centering. It is taken from Starhawk’s Spiral Dance, one of our favorite books.
Grounding and centering is one of the most basic techniques of magical work. Grounding means to establish an energy connection with the earth. Grounding is important because it allows you to draw upon the earth’s vitality, rather then depleting you own.
When you are channeling psychic energy, grounding and centering acts as a lightning rod — forces run through you and into the earth, rather then burning out your mind and body.
To begin visualize a cord or pole extending from the base of your spine into the center of the earth.
Center yourself by aligning your body along its center of gravity.
Breathe from your center — from your diaphragm and abdomen.
Feel energy flow up from the earth and fill you.
