Hello everyone hope you all had a great day, sorry for the late post I have been out enjoying the beautiful weather. Today we aare going to talk about how to create your ideal speeping area. Most of us have alot going on in our bedrooms. I know I do, my bedroom is pretty much the room I spend most of my time in. Right now I am sharing a 2 bedroom apartment with my grandmother & we clash big time, her being  Taurus & me an Aries…its just like a Ram & Bull fighting. So I tend to stay in my bedroom and away from her as much as I can. Anyway back to the post. Sometimes slipping into sleep when you really need to si made alot easier by subtly changing the way you use your room.

The way you use your bedroom can have a huge effect on your ability to get a good night’s sleep. Your bedroom is your sanctuary — a calm and relaxing place. It’s a place that since childhood, he have been able to relax & be ourselves. If you are like me and share a smallt apartment or living space, then you most likely use your bedroom for entertaining guests, studying, working and eating, as well as sleeping.. In this case you may find it hard to psychologically switch off at bedtime. If you find this happening to you, you need to train your body to associate your bed with sleep.  Get into bed only when you are really tired & on the verge of falling asleep. If you feel like reading or watching tv, relax in a chair or even on cushions on the floor rather then sitting in bed.

Hey everyone hope you are all having a great day, I finally got a chance to sit down & write today’s post. All my necies & nephew are finally off to school, well execpt for the youngest & she is asleep on my bed, thanks to the wonders of lavender. She is sick & very cranky so I lit my Lavender inscence, held her & within minutes she was fast asleep. Speaking of Lavender, today I am going to tell you some more ways that you can use Lavender.

Improve Your Skin & Hair
A great natural skin tonic, lavender helps to balance oil production & prevents scarring.

Add a few drops to the water of your final hair rinse or sprinkle some onto your hairbrush, to prevent dandruff.

To treat minor cuts, bites, strains & bruises add a few drops of lavender oil to a bowl of water, soak a cloth & press it over the affected area.

Treat sore spots & pimples by dabbing them with Lavender oil every morning & every night until gone.

For dull & oily hair you can make an after-shampoo rinse; you will need a bottle of mineral water, a few drops of lavender oil & fresh lemon juice. Leace to infuse 30 minutes before using.

Ease Your Period Pains
The relaxing, anti-inflammatory & pain-relieving properties of Lavender make it ideal for easing both the physcial & mental menstrual porblems. I use it every month & it is my favorite cure. It works wonders!!!

To relieve period pain, gently massage the lower part of your back & your stomach with diluted lavender oil. This will also balance your spirits.

Combine 3 drops of lavender, 3 drops of Roman chamomile & 30ml carrier oil & dab on the pulse points in the days leading up to your period, to aviod the emotional symptoms of PMS. The calming, soothing smell of this combination will help to regulate your hormonal system.

The esters in Lavender oil are known to reduce muscle spasms thereby easing period cramps.

Hey everyone hope you all had a great day. Sorry for the late post today, I have been running around w/ my nephew all day, he hurt his ankle. He has a liaison on his bone, still needs to get it looked at by a specialist.  Please can you all keep him in your prayers that he is ok. Unfortunetly  this is beyond my healing capabilities. Thank you.  And now for today’s post… Lavender oil can be used to treat a wide variety of complaints, from skin conditions to sleeping problems, and best of all is has virtually no side effects.  Here are a few great ways that you can use Lavender oils:

A Natural Relaxant
The perfect natural remedy for calming your nerves, lavender is known to ease you into a sound sleep.  Drop lavender oil on your sheets or place a small bag of flowers under the pillow to help you drift off to sleep.

A great way to prepare for a night of blissful sleep is to add a few drops of lavender essential oil into a deep, warm bath.

To relieve stress or anxiety, dab pulse points such as your temples & wrists with lavender oil.

Massage a few drops of undiluted lavender essential oil into your temples, to relieve headaches

Magical Lavender
Lavender has been used throughout history for its mystical properties.

Lavender is the sacred scent of the Celtic month of the Willow Moon (April 15 to May 13). Picking lavender during the full Moon enhances its magical powers.

The Romans burned lavender over hot coals to surround a new mother & child with the scent of compassion.

The ancient Greeks dedicated lavender to Hecate, their goddess of witches, sorcerers & enchantment.

Sprigs of lavender were worn by medieval monks to banish evil spirits.

Hey everyone hope you are all having a great day today, so I havnt posted in a few days. Its just been really crazy around here. Anyway today we are going to talk about  the active ingredients of Lavender. The combination of the following ingredients contribute to its legendary healing powers.

Alcohol
Lavender oil contains up to 50% of the alcohol linalol. Linalol helps to kill bacteria & viruses. It also helps to heal burns, wounds & sores.

Ketones
Ketones are compunds that help to relieve pain, build new tissues & reduce inflammation. They are also known to have a sleep inducing effect. Ketones can be toxic, so lavender that contains above 35% should be avoided. Diabetics, epileptics & pregnant women should avoid lavender oils completely.

Esters
Esters are compounds that are known to ease swelling & soreness, prevent muscle spasms, fight fungal infections & prevent scarring. They also help to regulate your moods, preventing you from feeling depression & hysteria.

Hello everyone hope you are all having a good day. I can’t believe its October already, this year has gone by so fast. Today we are going to talk about lavender & for the next few days we will discuss differnet ways that you can use lavender.

Many people know lavender for its calming scent, but it is so much more than that, it can also soothe & heal an amazing vaeirty of ailments. Its dreamy fragrance has made it popular in perfumes for many centuries. This gentle herb also has powerful harmonizing properties, it is actually one of my favorite herbs and I use it alot for many different things.

The leaves, flowers & seeds have a soft, sweet scent with a slight woody undertone. Oil is extracted from its flowers. This oil can be used in the bathroom, pour a few drops into your bath to relax your mind & muscles after a hard day’s work. Lavender oil is also good for your skin & hair.

Lavender oil can also be used to treat troubles of the heart & mind. It is widely used by herbalists & aromatherapists to treat depression, but its healing properties also run to pain relief of a more physical kind. When used as a massage oil, lavender relaxes muscles & eases tension. Its strong antiseptic properties effectively heal conditions, like acne or sunburn.

Nothing like just sitting there relaxing & being pampered to make you feel better. Today we are going to talk about another way you can pamper yourself, in a sense. This is a great way to help you get through allergy season.

Ambers and orange, gold and scarlet leaves cloak the tree and set the hills ablaze. But even though there is natural beauty afoot, changing leaves can leave you with seasonal allergies as well. If you shed as many tears as the leaves fall, then you may want to try a simple therapy from the world of aromatherapy.

Add 10 drops eucalyptus oil 

6 drops true lavender oil 

6 of chamomile in a bowl of distilled and steaming water.

Hey everyone hope you are all having a good day. My morning has been very stressful, been on the phone trying to fix a problem with my computer, finally go it solved. Anyway today I am going to give you a couple simple love spells.

Casting love spells isn’t about turning frogs into handsome young men. Its also not about simply picking Mr. Right and making him fall hopelessly in love with you. Instead real love magic will help you to focus on the qualities you would like to attract. The right person — whoever it may be — will then come to you.

Love magic should not be used to bend someone else to your will or coerce them without their knowledge or consent. If you bear this in mind when weaving your spells, you can be sure that your partner you find is truly destined to be your soulmate.

And now for the spells:

A Candle Spell To Attract Love

To attract a new lover into your life, you will need the following items:

A pink candle
Lavender, neroli and/or ylang ylang
A sheet of pink paper

1) When you want to attract a new lover into your life, make a list of the ideal qualities on the sheet of pink paper. Don’t name a specific person, however, even if you do have a dream lover in mind. Be careful how you word your list — a rich handsome lover may not necessarily treat you the way you want to be treated.

2) Mix together sensual essential oils such as lavender, neroli & ylang ylang and rub them into a pink candle. Place the candle over the piece of paper that you wrote your desired partner’s qualities.

3) Light the candle every evening, starting on a Friday when the Moon is nearly full. For a minute or so, think of the kind of person you would like to attract.

4) While you wait for your lover to appear keep healthy, stay happy & be patient. Your wishes can take time to reach the man of your dreams but if its going to be good, its certainly worth waiting for.

A Full Moon Spell For Love

When the moon is full it is at the height of its powers. This is an excellent time to perform love spells concerning fulfillment & abundance.

You will need the following items:
1 red apple
Pink and/or red rose petals
Red pen
Knife
Large sheet of pink paper
Red ribbon

Red and pink are the colors of love. Use these in your spell to guarantee the best results.

1) As in the first spell write down the on the pink paper the characteristics you’re looking for in your ideal love match.

2) Hold your apple up to the Moon and say “Lady Moon of the sky above, grant my wish & send me love.”

3) Take the knife & use it to carve into the apple 2 hearts touching.

4) Sprinkle the rose petals over the paper & use it to wrap them & the apple up, with you writing on the inside.

5) Bind the package with the ribbon, knotting it 3x as you speak your wish aloud.

6) Take the package to a natural place such as a park or the woods. Bow to the Moon 3x as you walk away. You will soon fnd the love you desire.

Note: There is more than 1 kind of love. Be careful to choose the right spell ingredients for the kind of relationship that you are hoping to initate.

Natural pieces of quartz crystal display characteristic cracks especially in larger specimens. Perfectly clear spheres or crystals with no imperfections at all are likely to be just ordinary glass instead of real quartz crystal.

So make sure you take a close look at the fairground gazer’s ball before you pay her because there is a chance that she could be faking it and you don’t want to lose your hard earned money, especially with the economy as it is today.
