Moonstone Moods

Hello everyone hope you have all been enjoying this beautiful weather, I know I have. Today we are going to talk a little about the Moonstone. It is closely associated with the Moon, as suggested by its name.

It is also known as a sacred goddess stone  & is considered to have many of the powers that the Moon itself has. It is a mottled milky-white stone with a subtle gleam. Rainbow moonstones have shimmers of color & are very beautiful. Many Witches, especially High Pristesses, wear the Moonstone during Full Moon rituals.

It is often used with psychic work, to boost intuition, and to aid in divination. Some psychics will keep a moonstone with their cards or runes. If you can find one large enough it can even be used as a crystal ball. It is also used for love, protection, & sleep magic. I have even heard from a few people that it is good for diet magic.
