All Good Things Must Come To An End

Hello to all my readers, I as you have noticed I have not posted in a long time. I have had a lot going on in my life and well I just do not have time anymore. I am sad to say that it is time to say good bye. I will no longer be posting on here at all, or responding to any comments. As the say all good things must come to an end. This blog was a great time, I learned alot while I was writing all the posts and met alot of great people. Thank you all for your support. I will leave this blog up since many of you still come to it, at least as long as wordpress allows. Not sure what the policy is on how long a blog can be inactive. Anyway thanks again & blessed be.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!  Hope you all had a great new year. Mine stunk, I have been sick in bed w/ a stomach bug, but I am feeling better now. The visual depiction of Virgo is a young woman holding shafts of wheat. Virgo is commonly thought of as the “virgin” but it is important to note that the word virgin actually has 2 meanings: the most common meaning refers to a sexually inexperienced individual, but is also means “an independent woman who did things on her own terms and over whom no man held dominion.” Virgos thrive when they are able to do things their own way.

The dual meaning of the word virgin carries over into the dual nature that most Virgos display. Sometimes they are completely confident with their opinions & competence, but other times they are filled with self-doubt and naivete as a young beginner. This aspect of Virgos character correlates perfectly with the fact that Virgo is 1 of the the 4 mutable, or changeable signs. The other 3 are Gemini, Pisces & Sagittarius.

The Sun passes through mutable signs when we here on Earth are preparing for the change of the seasons, and people born during the time of these mutable signs are thought to be highly adaptable under many circumstances. Flexible and open to change, these individuals deal with each situation depending on the needs and desires of the moment. Virgos are more comfortable adapting to outside influences than they are to imposing their will on others.

The shafts of wheat held by the strong young woman represent Virgo’s connection with the earth; this is key because Virgo is an Earth sign — 1 of the 3 signs focused on physical well-being and the practical matters of daily life. The other 2 Earth signs are Taurus & Capricorn. The element of earth symbolizes logic, dependability, and a sense of duty to those who are considered valuable & worthy. People born under the time that the Sun is traveling through one of the Earth signs are most reliable & responsible. They have their feet on the ground and possess a practical gift for understanding the material world.

The wheat that Virgo holds is also symbolic of the harvest– the time of year during which a Virgo’s birthday falls. In agrarian societies, harvest time was the busiest & most important time of the year– hence, Virgo’s hardworking tendencies.

Leo’s Symbolic Meaning

You get annoyed with yourself for this trait, but not for long because you like yourself too much. Those of you born under this sign are known for your ability to nurture others. You are especially sensitive to the ways people communicate their feelings. Taurus Symbolic Meaning

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a good year so far. I know we are, in fact this has been a great year. First, we decided to try again w/ Celestial Powers, we have worked out our differences & believe that it was a good choice. It was a great partnership from day 1 & well you just can’t fight fate. Also as promised we have partnered up w/ another great blog. It is called Healing Magic and we feel that this is going to be another great partnership, as we have the same interests when it comes to healing & herbs. Hope you check them out. And now for today’s post. We are going to continue where we left off before the holidays, with the symbolic meanings of the rest of the zodiac signs.

One thing that I would like to add in light of the new astrological signs, first it is for anyone born after 1992, but after do extensive research I have found that many of our clients born after 1992 still fit their original signs, thats not to say that you may feel differently. But we here at Miracles n Magic are still going by the old signs. If you feel that the new signs fit you better then feel free to look that sign up as well, although we will continue to use the old dates.

The symbol for Aries, is the headstrong Ram… very fitting; if you are an Aries of know of any you will know that we (Yes, yours truly is an Aries) can be VERY headstrong. In the wild, each Spring the desire to stake his territory & to mate drives the Ram to display his bravery by butting heads with his competitors. After a few times the one who can handle the headache & hasn’t given up is the winner. Those of us  born under this sign have a lot in common with there symbol, the Ram. We are willing to butt heads with anyone that we feel are standing in are way. Sometimes, we will give up if we feel that we are not getting our way quick enough, as we can be extremely impatient.

Aries is considered to be the first sign of the zodiac, Arians  as we are called are known to be aggressive & forceful because we are trying to be independent. We like to be pioneers in some way, the first to do something. We want to do things in the original way. If anyone can spontaneously  create a new way to be a pioneer, we certainly can. We don’t like to be second or to be kept waiting too long for anything.  We tend to function best when we act on or first impulse & don’t second guess ourselves. We hate lies & liars and are sometimes too honest for our own good.

Aries is one of the 4 Cardinal signs (the other 3 are Libra, Cancer & Capricorn). These signs govern the change of season, making them full of forward movement & great vitality. Cardinal signs are goal oriented, active, enthusiastic,  motivated, & ambitious. They initiate change & get things moving.

Aries is also one of the 3 Fire  signs (Leo & Sagittarius being the other 2). People with a lot of Fire in their chart are active, spontaneous, enthusiastic, creative, self-sufficient, & romantic. The forceful element of Fire can can sometimes make us Arians too proud, pushy, or bossy. We act on our first impulse, which as said before we are best at doing, without thinking & thrive when we are in charge of a project or are working alone.

Like our symbol, the Ram, we are brave explorers, headstrong pioneers who always strive to seek out new experiences. Our fiery, assertive & courageous matures are full of charm & charisma.
